Temple Charities, Inc. is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit that was incorporated in 1994. Our original purpose was to help those who finished a drug or alcohol rehabilitation program to not relapse. We provided nutritional counseling, help in finding employment (by teaching certain skills) and help to find housing.

In 1998 we amended our Certificate of Incorporation to expand our purposes to include not only those recovering from addiction but also the poor and homeless. Over the years we have provided nutritional counseling,clothing, food, training in computer and construction skills and help in locating housing.

We are made up solely of volunteers. No one is paid a salary. All donations are tax-deductible.
